Touch-a-Truck

Touch-a-Truck has become a highly anticipated annual event for Jack and Charlie. No surprise there, I guess. It is a parking lot full of every type of motorized vehicle imaginable. They can get in, turn on lights and sirens, honk the horns, pretend to be driving, etc. THEY LOVE IT!! This year, their hands-down favorite was being able to use the fireman hose to spray water. Charlie also LOVED the hot air balloon. Jack, however, won't go near it after it's near collapse last year while we were still inside. Here are a few pictures of this year's favorites...

Fieldtrip to Anderson Dairy

Charlie and I were able to tag along on Jack's second preschool fieldtrip. This time, we visited Anderson Dairy. This is one of my favorites to take with my students because you get a great big bowl of ice cream at the end. Yummy!! The kids had a great time!! Our tour was combined with several first grade classes, so there were ALOT of kids. The parents are asked to stay in the back so that the kids are sandwiched in between the tour guide and chaperones. In typical Charlie fashion, he was front and center, right at the tour guide's heels, far from anyone he actually came with. He loved it!! Everytime we see dairy food from Anderson Dairy at the grocery store, the boys recount every detail of this fun day!! Thanks, Ms. Tanya!!!
