Baltimore: June 2009

During our East Coast visit in June, we had a chance to spend some time with the Short's. We haven't had all of the kids together in almost a year, and man, are they an active bunch. We started at the zoo, which was a great place to let the kids run wild while we got to catch up a bit.










Uncle Pat was even able to make an appearance!

The rest of the afternoon was spent hanging out at Lisa and Tim's house, enjoying being able to watch our kids play together...a rarity, unfortunately!!

Brave Uncle Tim took all four kids down to the lake behind their house for a little after dinner fun. All kinds of excitement for the kid-o's.

We spent the next day at a splash park where the kids wore themselves out running around in the water and sun! What a fun day!!

We started the 4th of July with Nancy and Grace and headed to the much anticipated parade.





The kids had a BLAST watching the parade pass by. They had never been to a parade before so they were somewhat in awe. The marching band was the hands-down favorite...until the candy started flying!!



Brave Nancy had the kids decorate cupcakes after the parade...






The rest of the day was spent swimming and BBQing. Charlie discovered he LOVES ribs and Jack, aka Fish, spent the afternoon jumping in the pool.
